Care & Usage

All Elisabetta Studio cork jewelry should be treated with care. Thankfully, cork leather and jewelry are low-maintenance and all clasps and accents are durable. To ensure the longevity of your products, remove jewelry before: 

• Going to bed

• Showering or taking a bath

• Swimming or any water activities  

Silver

Because all of our silver is 99.9% sterling silver plated, it is best to store jewelry items in a sealed bag with an anti-tarnish paper when it’s not being worn. Tarnish is a chemical reaction, corrosion, on the surface of the silver. If tarnishing does occur, gently polish with a polishing cloth. If worn without polishing, tarnish can rub off on clothing and skin. 

Cork

Cork is naturally resistant to dirt, dust, and moisture.  If cork jewelry or fabric become dirty over time, the cork can simply be washed with warm soapy water and then allowed to air dry.  The fabric will not stain or discolor.

Clasps: Taking Jewelry On & Off

The magnets in the clasps make them easy to take on and off on your own. To ensure the longevity of the jewelry, please do not yank the magnets by the cork cord. 

To open the magnetic clasps:

Hold each end of the clasp, twist top side up and away from you and bottom side down and towards you.  Please do not pull.

To remove bracelets:

Hold down small end of clasp with a finger.  Place your thumbnail into the groove in the side of the clasp and gently pull upwards.
